It's already july!!!

My how fast this year is going by, there are alot of things that have been happening in our family and still i forget to write about them. But its july, already this year we have had so many things happeneing in our lives our daughters first birthday being one of them and my how she continues to grow every day. Not only is she a crazy one year old who get into everything but shes a little dare devil who continually tries new things and even though she may get hurt she tries again. Shes loves to climb, run, play in water, dance, sing and loves to keep mom on her toes while causing havoc with dad.
Along with her many partners in crime (her cousins being many of the ones teaching her the ropes) her favorite is her daddy who teaches her how to along with many other things pin her mommy down and tickle her.

 Our trip to tennesseefor our family reunion we were lucky enough to fly out and had such a fun time i just wish i hadn't forgotten our camera to take pictures but we enjoyed family, water fights, shaving cream fights, sleeping in the cabin our family auction, fishing and spending time in mississippi.

My little climber just some of the many places shes unded up on and i'm sure there are many more to come. she sure soes keep me on my toes and makes sure that i learn how to brenda proof not just baby proof.

 With daddy, she sure does love him so much and is already trying to follow him everywhere he goes. And her all time favorite sunday naps. Gotta rest between trouble making time.

 Just 2 days with the boys and they already taught her to love trucks, shes went for a ride and was also taught how to make fire truck noises.

 Her easter dress. I love her so much and she doesn't even realize what an amazing gift she is to me. She has already blessed our lives so much and has only been here a little over a year.

Along with the many happy times this year has brought some great challenges to our family and i hope in time we learn how to heal from all the things that have happened especially in the last month and a half but until then we just have to look for the blessing that come with the trials and realize that everything has a purpose even if we may not know it in this life time. I'm grateful that even though i did not know the challenges that my choices would bring my heavenly Father loves me enough to send blessing and to give me the oppertunity to have such an amazing family and life saver who will get me through everything. I'm beginning to realize that many times the reasons behind thing that happen in our lives are made clear to us when we are struggleing the most and that maybe sometimes we have to go through challenges so we can understand the blessing.

Not even 12 and already i look up to them

Being an achievement day leader i thought would be super hard, Having to spend time with a bunch of girls who can be too clingy, sometimes act spoiled rotten and do the opposite of what you ask especially when they are used to leaders atleast twice your age. But then i had the oppertunity to meet two sisters. Like me they are sarcastic and we got along really well i knew i liked them just from talking for 5 min but they have taught me so much. They live with their dad who after a big trial is in a wheel chair and can barely do anything for them. But watching them interact with their dad has taught me so much the love they have for him and the help they provide him with is so much more than girls of their age should ever have to do. They are truly my examples this month and i hope that my own daughter will be like them someday!!

Looking back at 2011

Having to look back at this past year has made me realize that there are alot of tender mercies that our Heavenly Father has given us, so here is a overview of what has been going on in our lives. 
The first tender mercy we received was the ability and help we had moving to a small town were we were able to get the new start we really needed. And i must say even though everyone thought it would be extremely hard since i was 6 months pregnant i must say after a few days of missing my family i was ok. I don't think our parents did as good as we did.
Second, Was the birth of our beautiful daughter. She is the love of our life, she makes us smile, laugh, gives us lots of love with hugs and kisses. Scares us with falls because she is our little dare devil. She is the reason for us being where we are at this time. Oh and unless she's taking a nap she's constantly keeping me on my toes.
Third, are all the friends we've made. Whether at work to help the day goes better, or friends that teach me and help me improve talents. I can now make blankets, knit hats and scarfs, can some foods and they are currently trying to get me to bead.
And Last, during Christmas we were blessed with the oppertunity to go to the temple to get sealed as a family. Its been a long road but one thats worth it. We are very happy every time we think that we can be together forever and that our precious daughter is ours. There is no better gift that we could've given our selves our daughter and our families. What was most precious for me was having my sister here. She is my support in everything and even though we live in different states she is always there for me.
Looking back at this last year i can truly say that i've been blessed with many tender mercies that i hope i will always be able to look back on when times get rough.

So here goes to the second half of my last post its taken a while but after Achievement Days and putting my baby down for a nap i finally have time. I have thought up several goals that i would like to accomplish by the end of this new year. Here they are...
1) After approving it with jimmy i would like to hike Goosenecks in October in order for me to do this i have to start getting in shape. Maybe this will also help me finally lose all my baby fat.
2) Read Scriptures Daily along with personal and family prayers daily
3) Learn how to sew and make brenda so really cute clothes
4) Keep up on writting this blog.
I hope that some of these goals you will do with me and help keep me motivated!!

New Year New Goals!!!

Its 2012!!!! The start of a new year I've sbeen wanting to start a blog for a long time so why not now? I figured since we have been living in a small town theres really no better way to keep out Family and friends updated on what is going on in our lives so hopefully this will be a good way to do that and also to keep me motivated with project and new year resolutions in our lives (mostly mine). So here's to a great new year and to new adventures.
